Description

A comforting all-in-one casserole layered with seasoned ground beef, sweet corn, melty cheese, and topped with crispy tater tots, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste to the skillet. Stir until smooth and heated through.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread the beef mixture in an even layer.
  5. Sprinkle the drained corn over the beef layer, then scatter the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a meatless option, use ground turkey or plant-based crumbles. Add extra veggies if desired.
